Dr. Robyn Sackeyfio is the only woman of color to be double board certified in general and plastic surgery in West Michigan. She is a native of Southeast Michigan but has called Grand Rapids home for the last four years. She received her B.A. from Harvard University where she graduated with Honors.  After attending the University of Michigan Medical School, she then completed a general surgery residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Sackeyfio then decided to further her surgical training by completing a general plastic surgery residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell/Columbia Presbyterian and a microsurgery/reconstructive fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Sackeyfio has extensive experience with pediatric and adult plastic surgery, but specializes in breast surgery, both cosmetic and reconstructive.  Additionally she has trained with the leading experts in cosmetic surgery and is committed to a natural, well-balanced aesthetic.

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Sackeyfio is part of the teaching faculty for the integrated plastic surgery residents at Spectrum Health and is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Surgery at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.

She lives in Ada with her husband, also a surgeon with the Spectrum family, and their daughters.
